(Meeting at Collier County Domestic Animal Services)
We need a handful of volunteers to help us receive hundreds of pounds of cat food donations! This cat food will be distributed to Community Cat Caregivers throughout Collier County to support these selfless, wonderful volunteers and all they do to help cats not only survive, but thrive! The Community Cat Food Distribution Event for Community Cat Caregivers is Saturday July 16th.
Details below.
Volunteers Needed!
We are seeking 4 - 5 volunteers who are able to lift and transport 20 - 30 pound bags of cat food
In partnership with SNIP Collier, we are hosting a Community Cat Food Drive. Local participating veterinary offices have ordered additional food to donate and help feed the community cats of Collier County. Our job is to pickup over 600 pounds of cat food from the various offices, and deliver it back to Collier County Domestic Animal Services on Monday July 11th at 10:00AM. We will then host a distribution event on Saturday July 16th for community cat caregivers.
We also are seeking volunteers for the July 16th distribution event. Volunteers should be able to comfortably lift and transport 20-30 pound bags of cat food.

What is a Community Cat?
Community cats are un-owned cats who live outdoors across Collier County and enrich our communities. These cats are vaccinated, sterilized and provide a wealth of benefit to the community including but not limited to controlling free-roaming cat populations.
We rely on volunteer caregivers to feed, love, and look after the various cat colonies we help manage.
