SAVING LIVES SINCE 2002 in COLLIER COUNTY, FL

Who We Are

For the Love of Cats, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cruelty of cat overpopulation in Collier County, Florida since 2002.

We are committed to saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. Our programs are designed to meet emergency and non-emergency pet care needs of the underserved.

Our name embodies our spirit and passion to help cats in need. Whether it is a starving or abandoned cat, an injured or pregnant cat, an old cat that needs a new home, kittens that need rescuing, or community cats that need caregivers, we answer the call for help with solutions and resources.

Our roots are in TNR (trap, neuter, return) for free roaming community cats. Our vision is to improve the life of any cat in need.

We work together with every rescue group and organization in Collier County to live our mission and goals every day. Learn more

We Need You!

You are our heart. We are your eyes, ears, and arms.

Together, we save cats in need in our community.

Our MISSION

Our mission is to end the cruelty of pet overpopulation. Donated funds go directly towards our programs that include working with the community to sterilize stray and feral cats through TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return), assisting low income families with emergency, wellness, and spay/neuter veterinary care and subsidize adoption fees for senior cats to senior citizens along with other support programs to help people keep their pets.

OUR IMPACT

We are proud of the impact we have had on our community and the thousands of cats' lives we have saved, the lives we have enriched, the families we have helped. Everyday we are making a difference.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Your donation will save the lives of cats and kittens in our underserved community. Your support will find a new home for a lonely senior cat, help rescue an abandoned litter of kittens, fix a sweet female cat, remove a painful tooth for a cat of a low income family, and save more lives in need.

Please consider a generous gift today. Purrs of Gratitude!

YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK

We received a call from a life saver. A compassionate lady and her husband were out boating when they spotted a kitten swimming
in the middle of the Marco River near the Jolley Bridge. She used a fishing net to retrieve this sweet kitten from the river. Esther’s rescuer discovered she had a
leg injury and brought her to the vet to get help. Esther received
her proper care, bandaging and surgery on her leg and she is now completely healed, living her best life in her furrever home with her new family!
