What Adopters are Saying

"The Best Day is when we know that our orphans have found their furrever home."

I just wanted to share a few pics of Mika. Her name was Cecelia when she was with you. She is still doing wonderful. She has moved around a lot with me, my husband is in the military. But we've been in one place for a while now and she seems so happy. She gets friendlier and more cuddly every day. Must be her getting older. I got her from you in 2008 when she was 8 months old.
I have a small donation in the mail to your P O Box address. I am so glad and grateful for what you do.

Jim and Jan,

Sorry its taken me so long to get some pictures to you. The days just seem to fly by.  I really wanted to get you some pictures of Chris so you could see how well he has adjusted and how comfortable he is.  He truly is a different cat and we can't imagine not having him around now.  He and Teddy have brought so much happiness to my son and husband and I.  Thank you again for letting us adopt them, and for trusting us with Chris.  I know how much you were worried about him.
He really has made himself apart of our family. He loves sitting on my lap when I have some work to do in my office. They sleep on the bed with Nick every night and he couldn't be happier about that.  Teddy sleeps between his legs right on his knee, and Chris sleeps stretch out on his side.  Once in awhile I notice that they will move up on a pillow, but I think those are the nights Nick must be rolling around! But if not, the both have their favorite spots. Once Nick leaves for school, they run the house.  Of course Teddy is a maniac! He is all over the place and has not met anyone who he doesn't love.  Chris, I think, will always be comfortable only  with Ken, Nick and I, and that's alright.  When other people come over, He heads off to Nick's room.  Teddy on the other hand is happy to have everyone love on him!!  The amazing thing with Chris is, he loves Eddy (German  Shepard).  Eddy could not be happier now that he has a cat again.  Teddy tolerates him. Of course, Teddy doesn't mind helping himself to Eddy's dishes, but that's about the extent of it for him.
Please share the pictures with your volunteers-I know they will be happy to hear how well Chris is doing.  I think keeping him with Teddy was the best thing that could of happened to him, lucky for us.
I will keep in touch and continue to keep you updated on our babies.
We wish you a wonderful 2012 and hope you can continue to do all the wonderful work you do.  People like you make the world a much better place.

Best wishes

Ken, Lisa, and Nick Blank

Hi Jan,

Here is a picture of another one of the "Y" kitties.  Yogi is now
Benny.  He's a very energetic boy!  Loves to leap with his large back
paws--sometimes 4 feet--up in the air!!!  He keeps us and his canine
sister, Maggie, very entertained!
